Kambrielle's Baptism

Cute Kam had her birthday in June and was patient enough to get baptised the first of August instead. Since I was on call the 4th and mom and dad came to Salt Lake and other things going on, she had to postpone it til August. She was a good sport about it.
This is her big brother hugging the dickens out of me. Can't believe how fast they grow up!

My Precious

Denver's last night here he wanted so desperately to scare the beegeebers out of Tami. It didn't work, but it sure was funny seeing him like this. Looks painful to me!

We had a ball having him here! Thanks for coming liddle brudder! hope you come again sometime soon!

Salt Lake Bees 4th of July Game

The last weekend Denver was here, we subjected him to a baseball game for the 4th of July holiday. He was a great sport to put up with us 5 girls and parentals. Tami and most of the girls hate baseball and so they brought along their Elmo Uno to keep them entertained. They are all a kick in the pants!

Psycho Mini Putt

Towards the end of Denver's stay, mom and dad came to join up with us. They wanted to go mini golfing the 3rd of July. So here is mom, me, my roommate Tami, and Denver. What is that bandage you ask, return to the Alpine Slide post and that will answer the question.

Mechanical Bull

Here's a great shot of Denver on the mechanical bull. I am very proud to say, I did beat him on that! I think the pics of me on it ended up on Sarah's camera though. Sorry!

Snowbird

Part of the Snowbird package was to take a tram up to the top of the mountain. We were freezing and surprised about how much snow was left! Beautiful scenery though! Denver loved it all!

Alpine Slide

We gave Denver the option of going up to Snowbird resort to do a little alpine slidding and zipline riding. They also have bull riding and other activities. My friend Sarah White was able to go with us. We obviously had a ball, though a little cold still the end of June!
Also almost forgot to mention, on our last Alpine slide run, Denver tipped his sled over and skinned his knee and elbow while I ended up chasing a ground squirrel down the track! Needless to say, Sarah won that race down the mountain! Good job Shaq!

Kennicott Copper Mine

This one speaks for itself. Sadly, it was probably the only disappointing part of his whole vacation. Long drive to see a big hole in the ground. Both of our sentiments exactly. Though I have to admit, the dumptrucks were quite impressive! See it once in a lifetime and that's plenty!

Oquirrh Hills Temple

By choice, not by force, Denver wanted to tour the Temple open house. Quick, but quite beautiful

Salt Lake Aquarium

Another day with Denver's vacation of his choice on a budget, was to visit our Salt Lake aquarium. This choice honestly surprised me a bit just simply because of the fact that he is from Oregon and I love going to their aquariums. I think this was a pleasant surprise for both of us. He got to pet a ray and see a live octopus. It was quite cool!

Donut Falls

Everyday Denver was here, I would ask him what he wanted to do. One of the things among many, was to go for a hike. So, I took him to one of the prettiest places I've never been here in Utah. Donut Falls up Big Cottonwood Canyon. I think he liked it!

Denver's Visit

At the end of June, Denver Nash, my cute cousin, came to visit. His parents and grandparents came to Salt Lake and after they left, he consented to stay with my roomie and I for two weeks and then fly back home. He had just graduated high school earlier that month. His first week here he attended EFY at the U of U. All of these pics are from the second week he was here.

His first adventure was to attend a professional soccer game. It was the Salt Lake Real. Pronounced reeeee al. Don't ask, I don't know.
